1. On a personal level, The Kinks weak U.S. record sales allowed me to pick up Kinks albums in the cut-out bins for a dollar or two not long after they were released. (No small deal considering I was in junior high when KINDA KINKS was released in !) So this was my first Kinks album and the beginning of a lifelong love affair with The Kinks/5(49).
